Ariya Finance & Business Consultants is established by Viraj Ariyarathne after he spent over 25 years in the Australian banking and finance industry. Prior to establishing Ariya Finance & Business Consultants, Viraj was employed as a Senior Relationship Manager at Corporate Banking, Bank of Queensland. Viraj spent much of his banking career at ANZ Brisbane and Melbourne spanning over 10 years. During this time, he has held various senior roles including Relationship Management, Credit & Risk Management within ANZ Commercial Banking and ANZ Corporate divisions.
Viraj's clients are diverse in their operations, industries and financial needs. Some of them are property developers and investors, SMEs, high-net-worth individuals, wholesalers and retailers, professional services and mining services firms. Having worked directly with clients and various stakeholders such as accountants, lawyers, government agencies, property valuers and bank managers, Viraj saw there was a genuine need for co-ordinating the financing process whilst offering the most cost effective financial solutions for his clients. His services extend to businesses as well as home loan clients from sophisticated investors to first home buyers.
Viraj has been recognised as a finalist for the "Advisor of the Year" and has featured among the "FAST Top Commercial Brokers Queensland" at the National Industry Excellence awards. He has also been acknowledged by Westpac Bank as a "Top 10 Originator" in Queensland and was awarded the "Diamond Broker" award by the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
